ATM Systems
At current level of traffic in the airspace, the technical infrastructure, the so-called ATM systems for the provision of air traffic services is necessary. ATM system is a general name for any device that is used by the air traffic controllers to control the traffic in the airspace of the Czech Republic.
The first necessary thing is a reliable and accurate knowledge of the positions of aircraft in the airspace. The radar information necessary for air traffic control is provided by primary (traditional) and secondary radars.
